TEACHER ASSISTANTLighthouse School, Inc. is looking for caring individuals to work with special needs students in a highly supportive and caring environment. Experience is not necessary but a nurturing personality and a desire to guide children through the difficult developmental issues that confront them is important. Hours are: Monday 9:00-3:15; Tuesday 9:00-2:30; Wednesday 9:00-3:30; Thursday 9:00-2:30; Friday 9:00-4:15 following a 10-month public school academic calendar (September through June) including public school holidays and vacations and abundant training and supervision. Compensations include base pay, merit salary adjustments, school sponsored retirement plan, 7 sick days, paid holidays, and 1 wk. paid vacation for every 2 years of service to 3 weeks after 6 years.
